Rewley Road, Oxford’s aerial appliance in 1998 was a Volvo FL10 / Angloco / Bronto 28.2T1 with a 2,273 l/min (500gpm) pump new  in 1990 and registered G775 UBW.

Commer VC / Carmichael, BMO 193J, was new as a water tender to Berkshire & Reading FB in 1971. It was allocated to Faringdon and transferred to Oxfordshire FB on local government reorganisation in 1974, when it was converted to a water tender ladder.

 

This ERF 84PS / Jennings / Simon SS70 hydraulic platform, NFC 684H, was new  to the City of Oxford FB in 1970 and transferred to Oxfordshire FB in 1974 as a result of local government reorganisation. It was photographed when new at the CFOA/IFE exhibition in Folkestone.
