Merseyside has two 2004 Honda Pan European ST130DA motorcycles, RE54 MSO here and RO04 EWC, primarily used for responding to automatic fire alarms (AFAs) in Liverpool city centre. A high proportion of AFAs are false alarms and a rapid motorcycle response avoids the unnecessary mobilisation of appliances.

In 2007 two Honda quad bikes were introduced to access rural and parkland areas with a view to reducing deliberate grass fires and undertaking community safety and engagement activities. This is DK57 FKT.

2008 Toyota Hi-Lux D4D / Truckman 4x4, DK58 HNG, at West Kirby in September 2009.

2007 MAN TGM 15.240 / J C Payne Truck Bodies driver training vehicle, DK07 JVZ.
