This 1964 Dennis F33D / Haydon / Magirus turntable ladder (APA 229B) had been relegated to the reserve fleet by 1980 and was later exported to Portugal for a second life. The F33D chassis was a hybrid of the F33 and F37.
Using a Wadham ambulance body, this 1964 Morris LD control unit (BPJ 15B) was distinguished by an illuminated red and white chequered dome on the roof.
This is the brigade's BMC breathing apparatus tender, BPE 898H, new in 1969.
