Newhaven’s foam tender in 2002 was this 1990 Mercedes-Benz 917 / Reynolds Boughton / HIAB (H521 YAP) which originally served as an animal rescue unit.

 

The brigade’s present animal rescue unit, GX51 UBM, is this 2001 Mercedes-Benz Unimog with bodywork by TCR Bodybuilders and a HIAB 060 crane. It is based in Crowborough.

 

This 2001 Volvo FLH-250 / Saxon rescue pump, Y93 GNJ, is seen in service at Hastings.
