Link to London Fire Brigade

This Commer 42A foam tender (1019 MX) was transferred from Middlesex to London in 1965. It carried 700 gallons of foam compound in 5-gallon drums. The bodywork is often attributed to Waldegrave but the appliance was delivered by Dennis in July 1962.

301 CXM, seen here on the run at New Cross in 1975, was one of two Dennis Pax IV / Dennis foam tenders delivered to the brigade in 1962.

303 CXM was one of two Dennis Pax IV / Carmichael hose layers built for London in 1963. It was pictured at Bromley while allocated to Norbury in the early 1970s.
