This is WKE 145J which was allocated to Ramsgate in 1971.

Kent’s later D-types were powered by the Rolls-Royce B.61 petrol engine and the last four were delivered with the style of radiator grille seen here. These were OKE 907P to 910P, the first two of which were allocated new to Hythe, the county’s only two pump retained station. OKE 907P is seen here at Dartford when in the reserve fleet.

From 1969 the Dennis D appliance, powered by the Jaguar 4.2-litre petrol engine, was added to the fleet in large numbers. This is SKN 604H at Maidstone, notable for having four repeater flashers - two on the grille and one above each headlight.
