Two hose units built by Glover Webb of Southampton were delivered in 1989. They carried a mile of pre-connected flaked hose which could be laid from  the back of the vehicle as it travelled at up to 20mph. This unit is pictured with Ford Cargo D1624 prime mover E353 VKM.

The demountable body system allows a range of specialist pods to be carried as required by a single prime mover.

Kent’s first prime movers and demountable bodies were commissioned in 1986. Here one of three Keyway Commercials incident support unit bodies is being demounted from Ford Cargo D1624 / Multilift prime mover D184 KKO.
