Carmichael International

Worcester-based Carmichael International, which specialises in rescue vehicles for airports, oil refineries, and fire services worldwide, has been acquired by Amdac (UK), a UK subsidiary of Pesaka Astana of Malaysia.

 

Carmichael, of Weir Lane in Worcester, has a turnover of more than £10 million and employs nearly 100 people.

 

Pesaka Astana is a major player in the heavy duty and special purpose vehicle sector in the Far East and supplies a wide range of vehicles under the Amdac brand name.

 

Excalibur Specialist Vehicles

August 2004

Excalibur SV of Burslem, Staffordshire, went into receivership and ceased trading in August 2004.
