1987 Oshkosh 4x4 P-19 crash tender, 87L 142, at Mildenhall in August 2003. It carries 1,000 US gallons of water and 130 gallons of foam. The pump delivers 1,000 USgpm.

 

The P-19 at Lakenheath, 87L 157, remained in drab livery. The vehicle is driven by a Cummins NTC400 6-cyl engine.

 

The P-23 crash tender is on a Timoney 8x8 chassis built under licence in the USA by Teledyne, with bodywork and fire engineering by Emergency One of Ocala, Florida. It carries 3,300 US gallons of water and 500 gallons of foam. This 1995 model, 95L 48, was seen at Mildenhall.
