After the Dennis Sabres came a batch of five Scania P94DB-260 / Excalibur pumping appliances in 2001. This is Allerton's water tender ladder, Y244 XRN, seen at Toxteth in September 2009.

 

Y243 XRN was allocated to West Kirby as a rescue pump ... ...

 

There followed another five similar appliances in 2002. This is DG02 WHK at Bromborough.

 

... ... and Y246 XRN was Bootle and Netherton's rescue pump.
