Lakenheath also operated a 1995 P-21 KME 6x4 / KME Aerialcat 102ft aerial ladder, 95L 00175. This rig carries 150 USgal of water and is fitted with a 1,250-USgpm pump.

 

The P-24 brush/structure pumper is a 4x4 version of the P-22. Built by KME in 1994 this example, 94L 139, at Lakenheath in 2003 has an enclosed cab and Cummins 6CTA 6-cyl engine. 750 USgals of water are carried with 50gals of foam in two 25-gal tanks. The pump delivers 1,250 USgpm.

 

Mildenhall’s P-24, 92L 101, was a 1992 model with extended cab open at the rear and Detroit Diesel 6V92TA 6-cyl engine. 600 USgals of water and 55gals of foam are carried, while the pump can deliver 1,000 USgpm.
