Kent’s only Dennis DS151 was this 1982 ex-demonstrator, A504 FPD, which was delivered in 1984 and first stationed at Tonbridge before moving to Gillingham.

 

In 1985 the Bedford TK emergency tenders were replaced by four 4-wheel drive Ford Transit accident rescue units. This is C411 CKR at Maidstone.

 

This 1985 Leyland CU435 / Wadham Stringer bus (C891 AKP) served as a stand-by control unit as well as providing transport for personnel.
