 The Dennis Sabre / John Dennis Coachbuilders appliance with ML cab displays little external difference. The bodywork immediately behind the cab accommodates a partial rearward extension to house the crew’s breathing apparatus sets. Rescue pump ladder, GN51 ASX, was pictured at Medway.

 This is a standard-cabbed Dennis Sabre by John Dennis Coachbuilders. The crew cab is red and the rear bodywork for equipment is unpainted aluminium with roller shutters. This is P998 FKK newly delivered before going on the run at Larkfield.

 The Dennis Sabre with roomier XL cab features a window between the doors and is therefore easier to distinguish. This pump, GN53 POH, also built by John Dennis Coachbuilders, was photographed when on the run at Medway.
