In 1999 the brigade acquired the first of six new Scania P94G-260 6x2 prime movers. These utilised the Powell Duffryn Multilift units from  the earlier Fords which were remounted on the new chassis. This is W882 XKP at Tonbridge.

 

This Volvo FL6.14 / Saxon Volumax (W649 YKM) ran as Ashford’s pump.

 

Ashford had two Volvo FL6.14 / Saxon Volumax appliances to replace the station’s Rapiers in 2000. W639 YKM, seen here, ran as a rescue pump ladder.
